An All-Inclusive Dubai Employment Visa Process

To obtain a Dubai employment visa you must follow these essential tips.

  • Approval Of Entry Visa Quota

The employer starts the procedure by requesting Ministry of Labor ( MOL ) approval for an employment visa quota. Quotas restrict the number of foreign workers that a business can hire. According to the rules and regulations, the employer’s company must have adequate space before hiring foreign workers. After the quota application is approved by the MOL, the process will proceed.

  • Submit Signed Employment Contract

Employer and employee sign a standard employment contract that specifies pay benefits, allowances, probationary period, and other imperative details. The MOL must receive this contract for approval within 14 days. The MOL examines the agreement to ensure that minimum wages, working hours, vacation time, and other labor laws are being followed.

  • Submit A Work Visa And Entry Permit Application

Now that the quota has been approved, employers can apply for the employee’s UAE employment visa and work permit. This is done on the MOL website by uploading supporting documentation such as copies of passports, signed contracts, and educational certificates.

  • Obtain a UAE Employment Visa For Entry

The employee will receive an email with an Employment Entry Visa as soon as the work permit is approved. The employee can enter the UAE lawfully with this entry visa within 60 days after completing the medical examinations, registering for an Emirates ID, and other requirements

  • Enter UAE On An Entry Visa

When the employee arrives in the UAE on the entry visa, they are tested for HIV hepatitis, and other infectious diseases as well as fitness. While the Emirates ID application records residency information, the medical test looks for infectious diseases. In one to two days, a certificate of test results is issued.

  • Apply For A Residence Visa

The entry permit is valid for 60 days, and the employer starts the residence visa application after the medical test is passed. The visa fees are paid and supporting documentation is uploaded on the ICA website.

  • Medical Examination

Medical tests look for TB hepatitis B and HIV among other infectious diseases from authorized medical centers. Depending on the situaton, others tests might be required for UAE employment visa. After arriving you have 14 days to take the test.

  • Submit Your Labor Contract

After the medical examination, the signed labor contract must be delivered to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization ( MOHRE ) within 14 days. The MOHRE examines and certifies the contract.

  • Purchase Health Insurance

According to UAE labor law, employers must offer health insurance to their workers. This must provide basic coverage for things such as doctor’s visits, surgeries, and hospital stays.

  • Receive Residence Visa

Once the application is approved by the Federal Authority, the employer will be issued the employee’s residence visa. As a result the employee can lawfully live and work in the UAE.

  • Create an Emirates ID

Apply for an Emirates ID within 15 days of arriving in the United Arab Emirates. This national ID card contains residency and visa information and is necessary for practically all transactions. Applying for an Emirates ID has put you one step closer to beginning your career in the United Arab Emirates. Accurate information is crucial when navigating the job market, though. False beliefs about looking for a job in the United Arab Emirates can impact your experience and career prospects.
